STEP Program

The STEP (Success Training Employment Program) at United Against Poverty Orlando is a comprehensive, free three-phase initiative designed to empower individuals who are unemployed or underemployed. The program equips participants with essential skills, confidence, and knowledge to secure stable employment and achieve financial independence. Phase 1 focuses on job training, including interview preparation, resume building, and earning free certifications, coupled with emotional intelligence development and opportunities to meet top employers. Phase 2, Career Connection, helps participants connect with a career coach, create a career plan, and access in-demand job opportunities. Phase 3 involves Success Coaching, offering one-on-one financial advice, assistance with job retention and promotions, and ongoing professional and personal growth support.
