BUILD A BETTER TOMORROW ABROAD

One of Build a Better Tomorrow Outreach Program was to assist a small community on the Caribbean island of Haiti. With the help of the Catholic priest in charge of the area along with the boy and girl scout volunteers, we were able to go door to door to conduct interviews with families and complete a census.

As you know it is of great importance to know the birth and death rate of a community, the number of literacy and illiteracy, the number of people across the areas, mother and children mortality rate. It was the first time in recent years that such a population count was conducted in the area. We are very proud of the accomplishments of all our volunteers.
