In an effort to combat the growing problem of an opioid use disorder, MRPC was awarded grants from the Health Resources and Services Administration, the Department of Justice, and AmerisourceBergen Foundation to provide education, awareness, and prevention strategies within MRPCs eight-county region. MRPC does this through two separate consortiums the Meramec Region Rural Opioid Program and the Opioid Affected Youth Initiative.
