Utilities Coordination and Conflict Resolution
Civil engineering designs and drawings developed by CalTrans for the modification of an existing interchange, road widening, bridge replacement, or new construction require attention to details provided the stakeholders. These include cities and countries, other utilities such as gas and water, storm drains, sewer lines, railroads, airports, and others.
Crossing Permits
We have worked with CalTrans to prepare interstate highway crossing permits for new transmission lines and communication facilities. These work included meeting with that CalTrans officials and engineering to plan the crossing and prepare the crossing permit drawings. Design studies were included: access for construction angle of approach the highway, clearance assurances, adjacent land owners, istallation of temporary structures, and traffic control measures.
Street Lighting and Photogrammetry
We have prepared street lighting plans in conjunction with roadway improvements and sub-division planning. Services includedphotogrammetry assessments to provide the level of lighting needs the specific application. Design services required coordination with electric utilities the location of lighting controls and the determination of power source locations. Specifications and material procurement documents were prepared for inclusion in road way or intersection design package.
Land Rights
We developed legal descriptions based on the alignment of transmission line facilities. These, in conjunction with land valuation appraisals, were used in negotiations with land owners and other utilities.
