Garden Tours
A variety of docent-led tours are offered throughout the year and are included with Gardens admission. Taking a tour is a great way to learn about the history and plant collections of the Gardens. Tours are contingent on docent availability and may be canceled without prior notification. This delightful docent-led tour familiarizes guests with the wide assortment of plants that grow successfully in Tucson and showcases a variety of gardening traditions and botanical themes present in our various specialty gardens.
Edible Tree Tour
Wednesdays, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Sept. 18, Oct. 16, Nov. 20, Dec. 18
More than 100 species of trees flourish at the Tucson Botanical Gardens. These trees not only give the Gardens its shady setting, but many of them also provide food. Learn more about some of our favorite edible trees that grow well in our desert environment during this tour lead by Nutrition Interns from Iskashitaa Refugee Network (http://www.iskashitaa.org/)
