Why learn about Winter Survival? Winter is a great time to get outdoors and explore. And, it comes with its own set of challenges and risks. Being wise and informed about how to survive in a "worst-case scenario" is an important part of planning and being prepared before any outdoor winter adventure.
What will I learn? Participants will learn some basic survival skills, such as what to have in your car in the wintertime, how to build a shelter in the snow, and the 10 essentials to have with you on every outdoor adventure.
This workshop is open to all ages and is a FREE event!
