- Members must notify Wasco Electric Coop when discontinuing service at any location. You must contact us with instructions to close your account!
- You should not rely on a future tenant or homeowner to assume the utility service is in their name, thus removing yours. If service continues in your name, you will be responsible for the electricity used.
- In most cases, the electric service will not be physically disconnected, therefore both parties must contact the Coop office in person or by telephone. This protects the outgoing member and the incoming member from paying the other person’s usage.
