Music Reading

Music Reading classes, starting at the Chorale level and recommended for students in 6th grade and above, teach sight-reading using solfege, enhancing pitch comprehension before vocalization. Proficiency in music reading is essential for placement in advanced ensembles like Choristers, Concert Choir, and Cantus, with students needing to pass proficiency tests in both Chorale and Choristers to progress.
